Senior Scientist - NK cell program

Senior Scientist  - NK cell program 

The role

The Sr scientist NK cell program will be an integral team member of the NK cell Research and Development team.  In this role you coordinate with research teams for discovery stage research, analytical development and product characterization analysis for NK cell programs in the US for Kiadis. You are responsible for planning, aiding and assisting in managing (remote) research teams for analytical method development.  You review and analyze experimental data from outsourced research teams.

For our US based teams, you liaise with and advise QC, Process Development (CMC) and Clinical teams for implementation of new methods.  

Your responsibilities:

  • Performs laboratory R&D for methods for analyzing NK cells. 
  • Oversee the execution of characterization (non QC) of NK cell products or possibly clinical samples. 
  • Prepares and presents summary of research activities. 
  • Prepare data and experimental results for clinical or regulatory support. 
  • Author, review and organize laboratory SOPs, research outlines and experimental plans. 
  • Partner with QC/CMC team for development of analytical methods for NK cell characterization. Define strategies for method transfer strategy to QC or process development teams. 
  • Author or review protocols and reports, e.g. for development, validation, stability studies.

The ideal candidate

As a Sr scientist in this role we require at least a MSc in biomedical discipline or immunology with around 3-5 years of experience, or PhD, with background in immunology or immuno-oncology.

You will coordinate outsourced activities, and are looking for a candidate with experience with outsourcing of biological methods. This role will be managed remotely and thus requires a pro-active mindset, strong verbal and written communication skills.   


  • Good experience with immune cell analysis and characterization (flow cytometry). 
  • Several years of working experience in cell based assays 
  • Ideally having knowledge of NK cell biology
  • Experience with experimental design (DoE) and analytical review of immunological data. 
  • Positive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
