In support of developing our innovative NK cell therapies, we are looking for a Technician Analytical Development based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

 

The role

As a Technician Analytical Development, you start your day at Kiadis with a nice cup of coffee. While sitting in the open plan office you prepare your assays for the day & ensure all documentation is in order. Now it is time to go into our newly renovated state of the art lab, and execute analytical method development work with the end goal to support plasma membrane particles manufacturing and NK cell therapies.

In your day-to-day you will :

  • Do experiments for method development and qualification and data analysis.
  • Test samples for Process Development department
  • Write SOP’s and work instructions.
  • Participate and execute general laboratory tasks and improve laboratory procedures.
  • Prepare reagents.
  • Report data in laboratory notebooks, assay forms and overview sheets.
  • Communicate method and sample issues to the team
  • Perform troubleshooting in case of aberrant test results.
  • Maintain method trending files.

 

The department

The Kiadis Operations team is responsible for all aspects of CMC development, manufacturing, procurement, planning and customer service. We are a group of experienced professionals – cell therapy experts, biologists, engineers, analysts, production associates, and more, driven by the passion to develop and supply innovative cell therapy products, directly to patients. We work through a global network of internal and external laboratories and production facilities, and interact on a daily basis with apheresis centers and hospitals around the world. The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone that shares our love for cells, and likes being part of a dynamic organization. It would be great if you have the following requirements:

  • Holds a Bachelor/Master in cell biology, immunology, hematology, or related Life Sciences fields.
  • Has at least 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment preferably within the pharmaceutical / biotech industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of primary cell culture, flow cytometry and ELISA assays.
  • Experience with assay development and knowledge on design of experiment principle.
  • Experience with assay qualification/validation, assay transfer and knowledge on GMP would be a plus.
  • The candidate is a team player, capable of working independently and with good communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus.
