We are looking for a Senior Manager Medical & Clinical Affairs who can work remotely, independently, and as part of a cross-functional team – based in the United States. 


The role  

As a Senior Manager Medical & Clinical Affairs, you sit at the hub of corporate clinical development activities. You take lead responsibility in complex and intersecting projects, requiring a scientific and clinical competence in oncology and/or infectious diseases. In your day-to-day you will: 

  • Support corporate objectives and Lead key projects related to the development of Kiadis’ key assets across the spectrum of Clinical Development.  
  • Develop content, written material and presentations for internal and external collaborators. 
  • Contribute to the development of clinical regulatory documents including IND applications, clinical synopses, clinical trial protocols and other study-associated regulatory submissions.
  • Support clinical study teams with study design and execution.  
  • Support the manufacturing and development and R&D teams through the construction of anticipated scientific/clinical scenarios for clinical development upon which corporate logistical decisions are based. 
  • Facilitate medical and scientific field intelligence and communication of competitor research, medical & clinical strategy, and the identification of strategic opportunities for potential corporate development. 
  • Develop internal and external presentations for application across multiple applications including: Education and awareness, training, project progress and summaries, financing and business development ventures and to support clinical collaborations. 


The ideal candidate 

We are looking for someone that is flexible, adaptable, and willing to assume multiple roles in a fast and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be seeking a challenging position with substantial clinical development responsibilities that will provide experiences across a range of potential career development opportunities.  This position is unique in that it bridges Clinical Development and Medical Affairs, and a willingness to assume roles across both functions is essential. Candidates must also possess the following requirements: 

  • Terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry focused on Medical Affairs/Clinical Affairs/Clinical Development. 
  • An established expertise in immunology/cell therapy/oncology and/or infectious diseases within the Medical/Clinical Affairs and Clinical Development contexts is strongly preferred. 
  • A proven capacity for professional flexibility, ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, execute independently and within the context of team projects. 
  • Proven strategic assessment and prioritization capabilities within the context of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs. 
  • A proven ability to understand strategic corporate priorities and to rapidly synthesize large amounts of scientific & clinical data into reports, presentations white papers etc., that inform strategic initiatives. 
  • Demonstrable experience working collaboratively and effectively with other internal stakeholders relevant to corporate clinical development activities especially Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Science/R&D, QA, Safety, Manufacturing and Sr. Management teams. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to meet deadlines and prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus. 
  • Available for full-time employment and sufficiently adaptable to work hours outside of a typical local working day in order to accommodate activities across both EU and US time-zones.
