Clinical Expert, ATIR

We are Kiadis, a biopharmaceutical company that focusses on the treatments of blood cancers aiming to make bone marrow transplantations, safer and more efficient.

As we are a growing company, we are looking to further strengthen our Clinical department with a Clinical Expert, ATIR based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The role

As a Clinical Expert, you deliver clinical expertise on T-cells (ATIR) to multiple departments. You are responsible for providing the clinical input and clinical oversight for early or late-stage T-cell clinical development programs. Strategic responsibilities include design and execution of clinical development plans for T-cell (ATIR) products from preclinical research, First in Man studies through Phase I/II/III Clinical Trials. In your day to day you will:

  • Direct the integration of the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) and the Drug Development Plan with strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead the development of Clinical Protocols to meet CDP objectives.
  • Serve as Study Director and drive the execution of the study from protocol concept to final report including interpretation of clinical data
  • Serve as the Medical Monitor for all ATIR corporate-sponsored study or clinical program, review and monitor study safety data.
  • Implement strategies to identify, monitor and resolve clinical/program trial issues.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs in the development and organization of Advisory Board meetings (e.g., agenda-setting), and identifying and liaising with KOLs regarding program strategy and scientific advice.
  • In collaboration with the Product Development Lead and the Project Manager set key deadlines and project milestones within the function.
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations of each country in which we do business.
  • Demonstrate high ethical behavior at all times, whether dealing with colleagues, vendors, patients, or physicians.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone that is experienced in immuno-oncology and general immunology. That has an understanding of the interactions of the different components of the immune system and how T-cells function. In addition, we are looking for someone with the following requirements:

  • Medical Degree with 7+ years’ experience, Ph.D. and Pharm D with 12+-years’ experience, must have clinical development experience
  • If MD, Board Certification or Eligibility in Oncology is preferred; will consider candidates with Oncology Clinical Development experience in lieu of Board Certification.
  • Demonstrated competence as Study Director/Medical Monitor and prior experience working with the FDA or EMA on responses to inquiries for study-related information. Previous presentations to FDA and EMA are a plus.
  • Clinical trial experience in the setting of the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated experience and involvement in clinical trial design or execution, oncology, heme malignancies, and transplant preferred.
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus.
