Manufacturing Supervisor

We are now looking to further strengthen our team with a Manufacturing Supervisor who is based in Ulm, Germany.

The role

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will manage and coach the production associates who perform daily production activities. This includes being accountable for the performance and results of the direct reports, including teamwork.

In your day-to-day you will:

  • Organize and supervise the manufacturing activities in order to meet Kiadis production needs in terms of timing, quantity, quality, safety, health and environment
  • Prepare the planning and scheduling of the on-site Kiadis activities
  • Interact with the third-party Quality Assurance department to manage document review/approval planning and ensures compliance with GMP
  • Ensure that your own work and team activities are fully performed according to all GMP and local regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that the training and qualification of the production team is up to date
  • Implement policies and procedures, as well as continuous improvement programs
  • Provide local oversight over activities and projects required to support of process validation and process change
  • Communicate with colleagues in the Amsterdam headquarter about manufacturing strategy/vision, changes, and alignment

The ideal candidate

We’re looking for someone with previous experience of supervising a manufacturing site with aseptic environment (having experience with cell therapies will serve your candidacy a great advantage).

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has several years of experience in a similar role, overseeing aseptic GMP production tasks
  • Has experience with working in clean rooms and in biosafety cabinets
  • Has successfully followed a training such as MTLA, BTLA, PTLA, or equivalent
  • Has interest in the execution of manufacturing processes in the field of Cell Therapy
  • Has know-how and experience in the field of Cell Therapy or with cell cultures
  • Can create and lead a team in a motivating way, has organizational sensitivity, and is decisive and reliable
  • Has great, adaptable communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as higher level of stress-resilience
  • Is fluent in German and English
