Manufacturing Associate

We are now looking to further strengthen our team with a Manufacturing Associate who is based in Ulm, Germany.

The role  

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will perform all required manufacturing process steps to ensure timely production of Kiadis patient specific products, while securing full compliance with all quality, safety, health and environment standards. Due to the nature of the starting material (patient cells) this role requires high level of proficiency and ownership of the process and media formulation, with the highest skill level of aseptic/sterile techniques.

In your day-to-day you will:

  • Work in a cleanroom to execute GMP runs in close collaboration with Head of Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Perform all tasks associated with the manufacturing of clinical and commercial products following batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Strictly comply with SOPs and cGMP regulations; accurately complete documentation associated with clinical and commercial manufacturing
  • Continuously look for improvements to the processes to increase quality and efficiency
  • As part of the team and as needed, take on production support activities enabling batch production, such as, but not limited to, staging of materials, and managing consumable inventories in production
  • Contribute to keeping manufacturing documentation up-to-date
  • Writing and reviewing of manufacturing documentation
  • Interact with QA to complete document review and approval
  • Interact with QC for the planning of sample delivery and environmental monitoring activities

The ideal candidate

We’re looking for someone with previous experience of working on a manufacturing site under aseptic conditions (up to grade A).

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree in a biotechnology or related field (or equivalent, thorough experience)
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a GMP environment
  • Hands-on experience in writing GMP / batch related documentation
  • Has the mindset and motivation to be part of a self-reliant team
  • Is native in German speaker and is able to fluently operate in English on daily basis
