IT Systems Administrator

We are now looking to further strengthen our team with an IT Systems Administrator based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The role

The key objective in this role is to develop, maintain, and operate cost effective, robust, secure and compliant IT services and solutions that meet the rapidly evolving functional requirements of Kiadis Pharma.  In support of this objective, the IT Systems Administrator is  responsible for providing the day-to-day IT support to the Kiadis IT User Community, and to administrate our IT system landscape, especially Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD.

In your role you will:                     

  • Review, prioritize and respond to IT incidents and IT service requests
  • Administrate Kiadis IT infrastructure and systems, including Office 365 and Azure AD
  • Conduct operating activities such as back-up, patching, system and security log reviews
  • Support and advise our end-users on the use of Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain IT documentation as per relevant policies and procedures (i.e. System Validation, Infrastructure Qualification, Change Control)
  • Order, install and issue the IT workstations and mobile devices along with maintaining IT asset inventories and configuration databases
  • Be responsible for IT User account management in close working relationship with HR
  • Coordinate service delivery with external service providers where applicable

The ideal candidate:

We are looking for a strong and dynamic IT specialist that likes the combination of hands-on work with our end users and contributing to project activities, combined with the management of our current service providers. If you are service oriented, communicative and have experience with modern workplace design, Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD, this could be just the right opportunity for you!

Your profile:

  • HBO or BSc. degree
  • 3-5 years in IT End-user Support and/IT Operation role, or as Microsoft Office 365 System Administrator, preferably in an international organization
  • Excellent technical understanding of Microsoft Office applications and Services, preferably Office365 and Azure Active Directory
  • Hands-on support experience for MS Windows based workstations and laptops, mobile devices and other office IT infrastructure
  • Excellent service orientation, preferably certification in ITIL v3
  • Fluent English language skills (fluency in Dutch will serve your candidacy a great advantage)
